BY PURCHASING ACE/SECURITY LAMINATES DO IT YOURSELF KIT YOU (THE “CUSTOMER”) HEREBY AGREE TO ALL THE FOLLOWING TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

ACE/SECURITY DOES NOT WARRANT THAT ITS PRODUCTS ARE BREAK-IN RESISTANT, BULLET RESISTANT OR BOMB RESISTANT. EVEN WHEN THE ACE/SECURITY LAMINATES’ PRODUCTS PURCHASED ARE INSTALLED ON YOUR WINDOW, GLASS BREAKAGE, INJURIES TO PERSONS AND DAMAGES TO PROPERTY MAY STILL OCCUR AND ALTHOUGH GLASS BREAKAGE MAY BE DELAYED OR DISCOURAGED, BREAKAGE WILL STILL HAPPEN AND ACE/SECURITY LAMINATES DOES NOT WARRANT NOR REPRESENT THAT IT’S PRODUCT WILL PREVENT ANY BREAK-IN OR GLASS BREAKAGE. The customer agrees to take full responsibility for any damages (including consequential and incidental damages) if incurred.ACE/Security Laminates assumes no liability for damages to persons or property arising as a direct or indirect result of the use or inability to use any products or instructions offered. No warranties are expressed or implied. There are no warranties of fitness for application for a particular purpose or merchantability applicable to the products. IN NO EVENT DOES ACE/SECURITY LAMINATES WARRANT THE SAFETY OR THE EFFECTIVENESS OF THE PRODUCTS. IN NO EVENT SHALL ACE/SECURITY LAMINATES BE LIABLE OR RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY LOSS OR DAMAGE, DIRECT, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL.

SINCE THE INSTALLATION OF THE FILMS WILL NOT BE DONE BY TRAINED TECHNICIANS, ACE/SECURITY LAMINATES CANNOT WARRANTY THE PRODUCTS ONCE INSTALLED. ACE/Security Laminates assumes no liability whatsoever against any product deterioration including but not limited to peeling, cracking, yellowing, demetallization, delamination. ACE/Security Laminates does not assume liability from glass breakage from any cause including breakage from thermal stress. Customers who require a comprehensive warranty which includes some of the risks stated above should contact ACE/Security Laminates directly to have a certified installer proceed with the sale and installation of the products.

By purchasing ACE/Security Laminates Do It Yourself Kit, the customer assumes all responsibility. The customer herby understands that point of sale is Ottawa, Ontario, Canada and that any legal issues brought forth against ACE/Security Laminates will be governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada. The customer understands that any legal proceedings will be held in the city of Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. This disclaimer and warranty is a legally binding contract between ACE/Security Laminates and its paying customers.

THIS WARRANTY PROVIDES CERTAIN LEGAL RIGHTS AND THERE MAY BE OTHER RIGHTS WHICH MAY VARY FORM JURISDICTION TO JURISDICTION. SOME JURISDICTIONS MAY NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMATIONS OF INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES. THE ABOVE LIMITATIONS AND/OR EXCLUSIONS MAY BE INAPPLICABLE.

ACE/Security Laminates will replace defective products at no cost to its original customer if damaged during shipping. In order to proceed with a warranty claim, the shipment must be marked damaged upon receipt and returned to ACE/Security Laminates within TEN (10) DAYS OF THE RECEIPT OF THE PRODUCTS BY THE CUSTOMER. ACE/Security Laminates will gladly replace any product damaged during shipping upon receipt of the following: the damaged product, the original dated sales receipt and a written explanation of the defect. ACE/Security Laminates obligation is limited to the replacement of the product. ACE/Security Laminates will not offer any warranty after the expiry of the ten (10) days delay.
